Interested in submitting a topic for consideration as a 1hr BREAKOUT SESSION speaker?
Please SUBMIT YOUR SPEAKER INFORMATION as follows:
- You must submit ONE TOPIC at a time even if it is of the same track.
- Obtain a guest account from PMI Houston - if you are not already a PMI member.
- Log in and click back on the SPEAKER button.
- Select a track from the 4 options. This action will bring up the application form.
- Fill out all the required fields; attach a passport size photo in JPEG format. You can also attached your bio and abstract in MS Word format. You can always come back to this page to make changes, add attachments, etc. until this submission page is inactivated (usually on the same day of the deadline – see dates to remember below).
- Once your application is submitted, you will receive an e-mail acknowledging your submission.
Please ensure your phone and e-mail are both included in your application. All those selected speakers will be notified via e-mail or phone. This annual event engages speakers, attendees and vendors from the business, project management, and program management communities, particularly PMI chapters and other professional associations in the Southwest Region, to create a stimulating professional development and networking event.
Important dates to remember:
· February 5, 2010 – Deadline for potential Speakers to submit bio and abstract(s)
· February 15, 2010 – Speaker Selection Process closes
· March 15, 2010 – Deadline for Speakers to submit PowerPoint slide presentation
· March 15, 2010 – Speaker Agreements to be fully executed
· March 15, 2010 – Deadline for Speakers to submit Proposed Expenses for Pre-Approval
The 2010 Conference Programs Committee, chaired by Irene Bradley, PMP, invites you to submit your bios and expanded abstracts for consideration for this PMI Houston annual conference. High quality contributions from all project management and related disciplines are welcomed.
Speakers are encouraged to submit abstracts that focus on improved and proven methodologies that support our 2010 conference theme: Optimize Business Results through Innovative Project Management Practices.
