In today’s talk, “The Paradox of Planning” Rashid will describe the paradox associated with project planning and will offer an eclectic set of options for coping with this paradox—all ideas originating from the many books he has read. |

Rashid N Kapadia, PMP is presently a manger of service projects in Wärtsilä North America. He leads a team of project managers. He started his career in the merchant navy, where over 17 years he progressed from a shipyard marine engineering apprentice to becoming a licensed & degreed chief engineer in charge of engine rooms of all kinds of ships. Born & raised in India, Rashid moved to the US in 1995 pursuing a Masters degree in Marine Management and other advanced marine commercial certification in Chartering and Agency. In the US, Rashid has worked for 3 organizations providing leadership and managerial roles in commercial merchant shipping, chartering & operations, marine and offshore engineering and repair operations, project management, and business development. |

• Click Submit
• Print a copy for your records
