Kevin Cullen
Kevin is the President of Leadera Consulting Group. He is an expert in the training and development of business leaders worldwide.


 He specializes in working with clients to deliver extraordinary business results through aggressive targets that focus on productivity, cost reduction, quality improvement, safety and profitability.  His training programs are well known for producing stunning results through Project Management Leadership.
 Kevin has over 25 years of experience providing business consulting, training and development to individuals and Fortune 500 companies where he has been instrumental in achieving their business objectives. He has trained and worked with leaders in every level of an organization to design, deliver and implement change initiatives to produce exceptional business results.


 Kevin has written several articles and published professional papers on the subject of leadership development.  He is currently writing a book with a working title of “Being an Extraordinary Leader” that will be completed in 2011. The book will feature examples throughout his career and will include references to his sabbatical where he spent time talking and working with people such as Mother Teresa, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and several other notable leaders and humanitarians around the world.
 His vision is that people achieve the greatest fulfillment and satisfaction by expressing their true self and living consistent with their values everywhere in their life especially at work.

Often we think of communication as being a one-way street – transmitting information from point A to point B. Today’s business world calls for influencing action through engaging employees and stakeholders up, down, across and outside your organization.

Lance Dacy
Lance is a dynamic, experienced management and technical professional with the proven ability to energize Agile teams, plan with vision, and establish results in a fast paced, customer-focused environment. He is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and has delivered presentations and workshops in Agile Scrum.
   
He currently leads of team of 20 agile project team members to sustain cross functional, self-organizing teams focusing on delivering the highest business value for our customers as early as possible through process and engineering practices/craftsmanship.

Lance is a true evangelist for Agile Scrum having founded the successful DFW Scrum User Group (www.dfwscrum.com) as an outlet for professional networking and community sounding board for Scrum.
Agile Product Development with Scrum

This seminar gives attendees a clear understanding and practical applications of Agile Scrum in Product Development and how it relates to project management.

Lisa DiTullio
 Lisa DiTullio is the principal of Your Project Office, a PMI® Registered Education Provider and consulting organization dedicated to introducing project management as a business competency and enabling organizations to improve decision-making, instill accountability, and enhance communications. Her group offers training programs and advisory services supporting project/business management and team-building activities, as well as project office support services to organizations that do not need a full-time PMO.

Joe Lukas
Joe Lukas has been involved in project management for over 30 years. His jobs span engineering, manufacturing, construction, project controls, estimating, contracting and both Program and Project Management. His projects experience includes information systems, product development, capital construction and manufacturing. Joe joined PMI in 1986 and has held many Chapter Board positions in Rochester, NY including two terms as President. He is a registered Professional Engineer, Project Management Professional and Certified Cost Engineer.

Joe is Vice-President for PMCentersUSA, a PMI Global Registered Education Provider and the 2006 PMI Professional Development Provider of the Year. PMCentersUSA delivers complete solutions in project management and business analysis through online, public and private training and consulting. Joe also teaches and consults for PMCentersUSA clients and has over 35 published articles on project management topics.

Achieving Excellence in Managing Project Risks
This 1-day workshop is specifically designed for Project Managers and project team members looking to achieve excellence in managing project risks. How often are your projects impacted by unanticipated events? Do you find yourself constantly ‘putting out fires’ on your projects? This 1-day workshop will improve your ability to identify and manage the opportunities and threats on your projects. Qualitative risk analysis tools and techniques will be presented.  Successful planning methods for responding to potential risk events will be reviewed.  Application of risk management to project budgets, schedules and contracting strategies will be described using specific examples. PMO Success Strategies

Transfer Policy

Registrations may be transferred to another individual, and will incur a $50 change fee. Transfer request letter must be from the original registrant, and must be sent to PMIC.Registration@pmihouston.org.

Payment Policy

Online pre-registration requires full payment of your invoice to complete and confirm your reservation. Unpaid invoices will automatically cancel ten (10) days after the date of the invoice. At this point, your pre-registration will be cancelled. Once an unpaid registration is cancelled, a new registration is required at the then current pricing. It is recommended you pay your registration fee via credit card, at the time of registering, to confirm and obtain the best available discount.
