Registration to this event includes a dinner meal.
Join us celebrating the holiday season with a social networking event starting at 5:30 PM in place of our monthly pre-dinner presentation. Dinner will start around 6:15pm, followed by the dinner presentation from 7: 00 to 8:00 PM.
Please arrive early to network with colleagues and celebrate this year's accomplishments. The PMI Houston chapter will continue to celebrate its PMI Chapter of the Year award. We thank you and appreciate your support that helped us achieve this important recognition and milestone.
As part of the holiday celebrations PMI Houston invites you to bring a guest for this dinner meeting at no additional charge. Please take advantage of this opportunity to bring a special person or introduce a colleague to PMI Houston's dinner events.
This year we are assisting the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Please bring a new unwraped toy to provide a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist in building better communities in the future.

Dinner Presentation:
"Leading from the Heart - The Case of Spark of Life"
Based on a life time of experience in counseling and focusing on helping others overcome great life obstacles David will share key servant-leadership principles and best practices that help us build and maintain great relationships with the key stakeholders in our life.
Speaker: David Mathews
David and wife Debbie are founders of 'Spark of Life'. David serves as the Executive Director.
The 'Spark of Life' Foundation is a not-for profit organization with the goal to instill hope that, though life can never be the same after loss, life can be rich and fulfilling. The founders of Spark of Life have experienced the journey from loss to life, from grief to grace. They know the journey is difficult but it is possible.
David has two Master of Arts degrees in Philosopy of Religion and Counseling. David is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and a Minister at Downtown Church in Searcy, AR.
When not helping others David enjoys spending time with his wife, four children, and four grand children.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be received via email at AMC@PMIHouston.org no later than 8 am the day prior to the meeting to qualify for a refund. No-shows the day of the event will be billed.
PDUs:
There are no specific PDU codes for events that award up to 2 PDUs. This meeting awards 1 PDU. Below is the procedure for getting credit for this event towards your PMP/PgMP recertification:
• Log in using your PMI.org Username and Password
• Select Report PDU
• Select PDU category CAT A: Registered Education Provider/PMI Component Event
• At Activity Type click Report a 1-2 PDU Event
• Click Next
• Enter Provider Number: C012
• Click Search
• Click on C012
• Answer the questions about the chapter meeting
• Click Next
• Enter the total number of PDUs you earned by attending the chapter meeting.
• Click Next
• Review the data you've entered and if correct, click the box indicating "I agree this claim is accurate"
• Click Submit
• Print a copy for your records
Note: If attended both pre-meeting and dinner presentations, submit a claim for 2 PDUs and enter "PMI Houston Monthly Meeting" as the Activity Title.
